Tara means “water” in Thai, a name chosen for the pear-cut diamond, known in Thai as the “water droplet” shape.

The most sculptural ring in the Promised collection, the Tara Solitaire Ring features a setting that hugs the sharp, elongated pear, following its curves, with a sweeping band that folds around the stone. The Thai Lai Kanok (ลายกนก) claws are at their most visible here, long and tapering, rising over the diamond with a quiet sense of movement.

Three claws hold the stone. The number three holds significance in Buddhism, and we use the word “tri,” meaning “three,” throughout many of our designs. Here it appears as a trio of claws, a quiet mark of intention in a ring made to carry a promised devotion.
